Ordered Random Studio (ORStudio) is an open source program that I developed for my experimentation on color interactions. ORStudio identifies patches from a drawing and apply colors to the patches based upon several design specifications such as tension, centroid, color chords, complexity and so on. ORStudio can save time and materials on color experimentation which would have cost too much, had it to be done with actual paints and canvases. Read on >>
It is an experimental forest with trees for my art study. The trees are with no leaves; I'm only interested in the bones that create rhythms over the sequence of events in nature, i.e., the plant biology and tropism. The trees are developed using the parametric L-system fractal and simulated using CPFG developed by Univ. of Calgary. The source code is openly available at github. No manual at the moment. Contact me for any questions.
